There are lots of fine musicians remaining in the Campfire Music Series. Our series is heartfelt and provides a way for us to keep alive our Mom's (Florence Swoyer) love of music and passion for teaching. We are grateful for the generous efforts of others which allow us to provide a scholarship fund in her name at Marywood University. Columbus Day will soon be upon us, the last holiday of the year (yes, really), and it's Halloween Weekend. Although we enjoy providing these activities and more, it's our hope that the first item on your to-do list is to sit back and enjoy the natural surroundings and the little gems that are within. For you might see a heron fishing in the creek, an eagle soaring above, a crayfish crossing your path, or a noteworthy sunrise. That's really what it's all about!

Nestled in the quiet hills of the Lake Region of Northeastern Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains, we began as a humble boat livery in the early 1900's. We gradually expanded to include tent and RV camping, pavilion rentals, and fishing tournaments. Today, our campground is a highly creative endeavor through which we paint experiences based on the tranquil countryside and the unique people who've composed around us.
While we are conveniently located just a few minutes from Interstate 84, our campground rests in a quiet, secluded setting on the shores of Lake Henry. The cities of Scranton, Honesdale, Carbondale and Hamlin are all within 30 minutes or less where you can find many popular attractions including The Steamtown National Historic Site and Stourbridge Line Rail Excursions, Glenmaura National Golf Course, The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees, Dickson City Crossings, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, Claws 'N' Paws Wild Animal Park, Varden Conservation Area, and the world's 2nd best hot-wings at the Windsor Inn. Explore our Links

We are located in the southern part of Wayne County, Pennsylvania, which has more lakes than any other county in PA, and is home to some of the best fishing in the state. The 310 acres of Lake Henry make it the second largest lake in the County and home to many popular species of fish, including large and small mouth bass, pickerel, perch, catfish, crappie, bluegills, and sunfish. Eagles and herons fish here regularly. Bring your PA fishing license and you can enjoy fishing Lake Henry too! But, unlike the birds, you must abide by seasonal dates for specific species of fish.
